Ember & Crown Intensives LLC (“Ember & Crown Intensives,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through www.emberandcrown.net (the “Website”) and our coaching services, programs, and products, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Website, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a contact form, join our email list, book a session, register for a program, or make a purchase, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing or billing address, and anything else you choose to include in your message or intake materials.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Website, our hosting provider and analytics tools may automatically record your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time spent on pages, the site that referred you, and general location derived from your IP address.
Payment information. Payments are handled by third-party payment processors. We do not store your full credit or debit card number on our systems.
Sensitive information. Please do not send health, mental health, or other sensitive personal details through the Website’s contact form, general email, or social media messages. These channels are not designed to protect sensitive information. If you become a coaching client, we will explain how to share information more securely.

Coaching Information and HIPAA

Ember & Crown Intensives provides coaching, not health care or therapy. Coaching records are generally not covered by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and HIPAA’s protections do not apply to information you share through the Website or in a coaching relationship. We still treat client information as confidential and handle it as described in this Policy and in any written client agreement.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No website, email, or electronic storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by North Carolina’s Identity Theft Protection Act and other applicable law.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, or longer when required for legal, tax, or accounting reasons. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about it shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Craven County, North Carolina.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on the Website with a new Effective Date. Your continued use of the Website after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
